Tom Shugg leads the China Smart team. Having lived and worked in China for over 10 years he has an impressive commercial track record in both the private and public sectors.

Tom refined his spoken Chinese throughout his employment with Austrade at the Australian Embassy in Beijing and has been supporting International companies in China as an independent consultant for many years.

With his time spent between Melbourne and Beijing, Tom continues to keep active networks in China so as to best support his International clients.

Tom is passionate about Chinese language and helping international companies increase their understanding of China.

He is also co-founder of www.mychineseteacher.org – one of the world’s largest online Chinese language services.
